ELF Haul.

So, I ordered from E.L.F. a little over a week ago and my package arrived today. I was so excited when it got here, this was my first order from them and I can say it won't be the last. I've used most of the products and I'll give slight reviews now, but once I fully try everything, I'll post individual reviews.

My order came in a box and the products in this bag. Obviously I have already taken them out of their packages, but I thought this bag was so professional and chic looking for such a low cost makeup brand, I had to take a picture.

So, we'll start with the eyes. This is the Duo Eyeshadow Cream in Butter Pecan. I haven't really tried this out, but the color does seem to show up very well. I don't know how well I'm going to like the feel of cream on my eyelids, but I'll give it a go just because I absolutely love the colors and I mean, it was only a dollar. What am I really losing?

This is the Brightening Eye Color in Buttenut. It's also from the Essential line, so I only paid $1. I used the coral pink color and the darkest brown today. The pigmentation was really good but when I went to blend them together, they kind of blended in a little too well. You couldn't see the contrast. So, I'm going to try some different techniques and get back at this one. Aside from that, I really like this eyeshadow.

And this little eyeshadow is from the Mineral line in Enchanting (matte). I noticed that you have to shake it pretty hard to get any of the product to come up through the sifter and when it does, it's more like balls instead of powder. But once you apply it to your eyelids, it goes on nicely with great pigmentation. Because this is from the Mineral line and not the Essential, it costs $3.

Obviously, this is ELF's eyelid primer from their dollar line. I haven't used this but once, so I can't say how well this prevents creasing or improves pigmentation. I usually just use concealer, but for a buck, I'll try it.

This eyelash curler was a steal. Only a buck and it does an amazing job. I love its appearance and the handles.

I ordered two Waterproof Eyeliner pens from the Essential line. The one on the left is in Coffee and the one on the right is in Black. I used the Coffee today and I'm not sure if I had to shake it up a bit more or what, but after using it on one eyelid, I noticed it seemed a little harder to apply. Maybe it's a fluke. I left them tip side down in hopes of the product settling in the felt tip. But, I'll give more of a review later as promised.

I've never really worn fake eyelashes, but when I saw these for a dollar, I jumped on them. I have heard to buy my own glue from other reviewers. I'm not sure when I'm going to use these, but it won't be for a while, so don't be looking for a review anytime soon. Oh, by the way, these are in Natural.

Now, for the lips. I have heard so many good things about this product. If you can't read the writing in the picture, it's Conditioning Lip Balm and it's in Peaceful Pink. I watched a review on youtube (I forget which channel) and it seemed to show up pretty well on her lips, but not so much on mine. Maybe you have to apply a heaping amount, I'm not sure yet. On the upside, it smells extremely good and it moisturizes amazingly well.

I absolutely love this. It's the Matte Lip Color in Coral and it's from the Studio line, making it $3, but well worth it. The color is very pigmented, granted that you'll have to apply chapstick or some type of gloss over it. It's kind of dry, which is okay, the added shine makes it pop more. The only bad thing I have to say, and it isn't even that big of a deal, is that the color at the end of the stick doesn't match the color stick at all. I've only had this a day and I'm already recommending this.

And here comes the facial products. This is the Mineral Infused Face Primer. In pictures and even some videos, this bottle may seem big--I have big hands, so it does look large. But it's actually pretty small. About the size of a foundation bottle. This was $6 and I can't tell if it's worth it or not. I've never used a facial primer before, I'm more into moisturizers, but it seems to do a decent job. I have heard people say that it breaks them out, but my skin isn't all that sensitive and hasn't broken out yet. Fingers crossed. I do like how cute it is, though.

This tinted moisturizer is from the dollar line. Most people say that it's too thick and has sheer coverage. I haven't used it yet, so I can't say that. But I am a little weary, only because I know it doesn't match my skin tone. The pictures on the website aren't very accurate, but if all else fails, I can always use it for summer when I get a bit darker.

I thought the All Over Stick was going to be a bit bigger, too. It's very small, but like the Face Primer, it's very cute. I didn't have to use this on any blemishes today--my skin is clearing up a bit--but I did use it for my under eye circles and it did a better job than I was expecting. For a dollar, I'm definitely going to buy this again.

I also bought the Tone Correcting Concealer for a dollar. And like I said above, I didn't have much of a need for concealer today, so a review will be posted eventually. I will say this, though, it smells really good.

From the Studio line, I got their Warm Bronzer. It is a bit shimmery, but the color is so pretty. And the packaging is extremely nice, well worth the $3. It's actually a whole lot bigger than I expected. It's roughly the size of my palm. You could use these separately or all together. Either way, it's a beautiful way to highlight your face.

This is the blush from the Studio line in Candid Coral. As you can see, it's very powdery. This is just after one use and attempt after attempt to blow the excess away. But, I do have to say that the color is very nice even if you do have to apply it generously.

And this concludes my ELF haul. I would have included my Black Cream Eyeliner, but I guess they ran out after I placed my order. They're back in stock now and it wasn't circled on my info sheet, so I just sent a friendly email to customer service to figure out if I was jipped or not. Also, when ordering from ELF, make sure to search for promo codes and coupons or sign up and they'll email you when they're having specials. Beware that they can and will fill your inbox with "We Missed You" emails, but at least you'll hear of the big sales. Overall, I'm very happy with my ELF products. I can't wait to place another haul.
